Water Industry

During more than 20 years of providing process engineering services, Rowan House has worked with the water industry in a number of ways, such as water and waste treatment processes, energy generation and safety systems. Our customers have included Welsh Water, United Utilities, Severn Trent, Veolia Outsourcing and Southern Water. We are UKAS accredited, with BS EN 61508 certification for Safety Instrumented Loop (SIL) assessment and its guidance for the process industries, IEC 61511 and have carried out a wide variety of safety assements in the industry. These include Safety Studies, DSEAR and ATEX compliance for hazardous substances and hazardous area zoning.

Our experience covers process engineering projects in the full scope of water industry areas of activity, including sewage sludge drying, BioGas generation and refinement, due diligence studies and accident investigations.
