Rowan House ^Ltd and MCH Konsulting are pleased to offer combined HAZOP with IEC61508 assessment software on a central server facility within your company. The server based system uses standard RAID server hardware and TCP/IP ethernet communications to seamlessly integrate into your business network. Your process data is valuable and important so a RAID server configuration provides safe, dependable back-up of your HAZOP and IEC61508 data by having hot-removable dual hard drives with automatic copying back-up facilities as standard.

HAZ1508software offers everything you need to conduct and record a full HAZOP meeting in accordance with recognised best practice. HAZ1508also includes safety integrity level ("SIL") requirement calculation software within it to seamlessly and automatically calculate your SIL needs during your HAZOP meeting without requiring any further meetings or delays from your top engineers and managers. The saving in time and money that arises from this approach is huge. Recommended actions arising from the HAZOP meeting can be e-mailed to the attendees at the touch of a button thereby minimising post-HAZOP secretarial effort. HAZOP tracking software is included in HAZ1508 to help you identify actions that have not yet been closed out or signed -off as well as recording responses received.

For small users HAZ1508 is also available from Rowan House ^Ltd and MCH Konsulting for single-user PC systems and laptops as well as for network file servers.

This HAZ1508 server system offers the following advantages:

The RAID server configuration uses entirely standard hardware available and supported by recognised mainstream companies: IBM, Dell, Hewlett Packard amongst others.
 
 

To facilitate easy integration with your existing IT network we offer three optional ways forward:

1.  Rowan House^Ltd / MCH Konsulting provide the RAID server, fully loaded and configured with HAZ1508, the combined HAZOP and IEC61508 assessment software.

2.  Your IT department nominate the RAID server hardware supplier from your preferred mainstream supplier and Rowan House ^Ltd / MCH Konsulting purchase, load and configure the combined HAZOP and IEC61508 assessment software.

3.  Your IT department purchase the RAID server from a selection of models or to an agreed specification and then free-issue the RAID server to Rowan House ^Ltd or to MCH Konsulting who then load and configure HAZ1508, the combined HAZOP and IEC61508 assessment software.

Access to the HAZ1508 server can be achieved from any PC workstation on your company's network. The standard server HAZ1508software configuration is capable of running up to six HAZOP studies simultaneously. Larger number simultaneous HAZOP systems are available from our range of products.

The RAID server configuration has been tested in networks running Windows 95®, Windows 98®, Windows NT®, Windows 2000®, Windows ME®, Apple MacIntosh®, Linux, Unix and FreeBSD.
